The Whatcom County Library System and the Friends of the North Fork Community Library secured 2.3 acres of commercially-zoned land from the Mt. Baker School District to site the new library.

Local quilting group Maple Falls Sew
and Sews presented theFriends of the North Form Community Library with a handmade quilt.

The quilt will be raffled off with
tickets costing $1 each and available
at the Maple Falls Library during
regular hours, as well as during our booksale (late May) and other community events including the Kendall Elementary PTA Carnival (May 17th).

The drawing will be held in late August. Funds raised will go towards the construction of the North Fork Community Library.
